This report concerns the battle against time of a 22-year-old boy, Keshav, suffering from CKD End of stage Kidney Disease. he is currently losing his battle due to lack of funds for treatment which amounts to around 8 lakhs. Keshav was born on 06 October 2001 in Haryana. He was last diagnosed with CKD stage in April 2021. He was first admitted to the 2021 Gurugram Medanta Hospital ICU on 3rd April due to severe breathing problems and bleeding from the mouth. Hours after he was admitted, doctors confirmed that he had end-stage kidney disease. 90 percent of his kidney had stopped working. He was advised to start dialysis immediately and undergo a kidney transplant at the earliest. From that day dialysis started 3 times a week. My kidney transplant was done on 11th August 2021, My mother donated a kidney to me. After kidney transplant I was kept in ICU, after that I got a fever due to which my kidney got damaged again and I was very broken and lost all hope of living. Fighting this chronic disease for almost 1 year and regularly taking 4 hours’ dialysis thrice a week because the kidney transplant process is a bit long. Now we are going to give him a new life by transplanting again at Amrita Hospital Faridabad Haryana, in which my uncle is donating me a kidney. The financial resources of his family have been completely exhausted due to the expenses of the previous treatment. In other words, it is the end of the road as it is a very expensive operation as well as post-operative treatment. That's why we request your help.
